GT Fog light replacement lens

Just came across these PIAA lights apparently a direct replacement driving light for the GT fogs.

I believe that's what's used with my Cervini's kit. I know they were PIAA and I'm almost positive they were the same size as the stockers.

I saw these a while back and thought they would be a great replacement for the crappy OEM fog lights that have film all over the reflectors.

However, they are a driving light and not a fog light, hence are made to compliment the high beams. I'd never get a chance to use them around here.

I'll bet they don't discolor like the stock one can.

I take that back. Mine have more of a euro-clear or diamond-clear look. But I'm sure those are a good replacement.

The H3 bulb (used in the PIAA driving lamps) has a rated lifespan of 35-550 hours (130W / 55W respectively) while the H10 bulb has a rated lifespan of 1000 hours. Keep in mind these are lab lifespans (no vibration, etc...) The H3 has 103-250 candle power (again, 55W / 130W respectively) while the H10 is only rated at 65 candlepower.

The H1 has an even shorter lifespan at 300 hours.
