Im looking to see if anyone has the template to put the scoops on and the part # for the pins that you need to drill in...i bought the scoops but they didnt come with the bolts...

 

I have a friend that had his installed with only 3M two sided tape,,with no problems after two years,,here are some pictures of that car,



YOU DO NOT NEED TO DRILL HOLES IN YOUR RIDE,,THE SCOOPS WILL LAY INSIDE / UP AGAINST-THE C-PANEL JUST PASS EACH DOOR,

 

I never used the push pins on mine either (on my GT)... The 3M alone worked fine. No problems with fitment or concerns of them falling off... Prep well and you'll be good-to-go.

 

My son and l both have a set of CS/scoops on our stangs too. The first time the body shop just put them on with the 3m tape. l told them l wanted them to use the grommet and pins but they Guaranteed me they would never fall off. They went as far as to say l couldn't even pull them off with my hands if l tried. So my sons first set is on the I-75 some where from our trip from Canada to Kentucky. 20 miles after he lost one l noticed in my side mirror one of mine flopping around . l stopped and pulled it off before l lost it. Next day l pulled the other one off along with my son's other side. l will admit l had to pull pretty good but they did come off. The hardest was getting the 3m tape off the paint. When we got home the body replaced my son's and reinstalled mine with the 3m tape grommets and pins free of charge .
