Last commodity report from Paul (Karpro) was that 0% IUP for both of the first 2 weeks of January?

Hey, I live in Tampa, and I have a Lead on a Nearly Identical Twin to the car you ordered, Coming in Next week at a dealer very Close to you. The Dealer has been calling her and telling her every single GT auto that comes in hoping she'll jump on it, but this is the closest to what she wants. She wants a Winveil Blue GT Auto, but wants Graphite Interior, and Bullitt Wheels, so if she Doesn't want it, you might be able to get it Sooner than you think. The only thing I see that it doesn't have is the Shaker 1000, but that's it. I'll keep you posted!

Last commodity report from Paul (Karpro) was that 0% IUP for both of the first 2 weeks of January? [/b][/quote]I think you're fine. That report I get is for gettin pulled to be scheduled in the first 2 weeks of January (the units would actually be scheduled to be built late january early february). This unit was probably pulled and scheduled in december when they thought they had the IUP issue under control.
As Karpro stated my order was scheduled for production and serialized in December. To be more precise my order was placed on 11/26 and by 12/14 I had already received a complete VIN and was assigned a production week of 1/10. Every piece of information my dealer gave me was accurate and actually happened when I was told it would happen.
I have experienced NONE of the ordering issues, broken promises, misleading information, and other problems associated with the IUP delay that most seem to be having. When I placed my order I drove 60 miles to one of the largest and most reputable dealers in Central Florida. I have a small dealership about 6 miles from where I live but did not order with them because they would not give me any information concerning how many GTs their dealership had been allocated - not a good way to start off. That is why I went to a dealer that had several GTs sitting on the lot for immediate sale, receives several more truckloads each week, and had rows of V6s ready for immediate delivery. The only reason I ordered was because the dealer wouldn't X-Plan a vehicle on the lot but agreed to let me use my X-Plan if I ordered. The dealer calls me weekly with an update.
I suggest if your not getting that kind of commitment from your dealer - FIND ANOTHER DEALER!! Most of the complaints are dealer issues and not directly related to the manufacturer. Do your homework on the dealer before placing your order.
PS: Ben I am installing Magnaflows not MagnaPaks. The only reason I am changing the mufflers at all is because I prefer the looks of the rear of the vehicle with MagnaFlow's larger outlet. I outgrew lots of noise years ago (well maybe not that long ago).
PS: Too Tall is that nickname for real?? The reason I ask is because I am 6'7" tall and approximately 260lbs. (conservatively). Sure hope I'll fit in the 05.

Drove 2 hours away from the large Central Florida dealers to a small town dealer. I've been getting equally good service and so far things are moving along pretty good. I think it's a numbers game. Is it better to be first in line at a dealer with a small allocation or 20th in line at a dealer with a large allocation?
None the less... I agree, if a dealer is stringing you along, find another dealer.
