I would encourage you to enjoy your new car and not become overwhelmed by the mark-up. WHich will then consume you and lead to your discontent over buying the vehicle. Speak to the folks at the dealership and call Ford. But please keep this Caveat in mind when you call Ford: They DON'T CARE!!! At All. I had a terrible experience when I bought my 01 GT. I called Ford so many times I got sick of it. My cousin also had similar experiences with Ford customer service and mechanical problems with his 01 GT. It was very disheartening, especially how FORD did nothing to remedy my situation. Don't get me wrong, when you call you will most likely talk to this sympathetic (not empathic) person that will not do anything but refer you to your dealership. I love mustangs but with all the mechanical issues I have experienced and terrible-apathectic ford customer service, I sometimes question whether I should buy another Ford. But then Again, all I have ever owned are mustangs. My 1992 LX 5.0 that I bought new was the best car I have owned yet, far from my 01 problematic GT. All of my mustangs prior to SN95 were great cars.

Yeah, I threatened that cat with in an inch of his life if he ever got that close to it again. Paw prints on a new pony, NOT GOOD!!!! :nono:

FYI, if you are getting X-PLAN the dealer has to show you the invoice because it has the X-PLAN price on it. They cannot charge you less or more once you prove you qualify for X-PLAN pricing.

The dealer finally gave me the invoice 6 days after I drove off the lot with the car. Not happy with the deal they gave me. My husband has been on the phone trying to get the owner of the dealership to talk to him, not that it will change anything. Invoice price with X Plan was $25,044. Our final price was just over $27,000. What a bunch of bull.
