Hopefully ISELLFORD will see this and help out. I received my Invoice today and the Xplan price is listed at $24571.42. When I built it was $24454. Why the difference? Noticed FDAF/LMDA Assessment $420 is this right? I ordered Deluxe GT only option was 3.55 rear. Also it shows Invoice prepared 8/16/06 and transit days 8 When should I expect it. What is my order number or where is it located? Thanks
Hey Kenny, I saw your question, and wanted to offer my help, since I'm online. One reason I can think of, when did you price out the car, in comparison to when you ordered it? I ask as when a car is first ordered, and submitted to the factory, Ford (as well as all other manufacturers) sometimes raise the price level on cars several times a year, to cover the costs of the suppliers raising their prices.
If you have a DORA, the price level will be in the upper right hand part of the paper. On the invoice, I think it should be on the lower right hand part, near the item number, and such. I'm on vacation this week, and I can't go look at an invoice to see where its located. Anyway, if the levels are the same, that isn't it. If they are different, that is 1 possibility.
Second, the FDAF, which is the advertising for the car, every vehicle is hit for it, even mine, and I got my car using the dealer employee purchase plan. That amount for it seems right. Its a little different for every region of the country.
Lastly, where did you price out the car? If you used a car website that shows prices (like Edmunds), this can be a factor also, as these sites may not have the most up to date price info from Ford yet.
To get back to the price level issue, if the level changed during the waiting period, Ford dealers have price protection, that saves the customer from paying the increase, when the price levels go up. Now, I have heard of alot of people who paid the increase, and the really shouldn't, as all the dealer has to do, is file for it. Personally, from the sound of how much the amount is, this seems like the most logical answer to the price discrepancy. Hope this helped a little, and your car arrives ASAP. You will enjoy it. Trust us.

I ordered it July 12th I believe. I asked about the DORA and never got it. Pricing was from forddirect.com, but it was showing a $25 lower destination price at the time. Also, was given to me by sales manager when I ordered he showed me the screen but I didn't get a print out. I now have the invoice in hand and I was just making sure the $420 wasn't add on by dealer. I thought that cost was included in the destination charges.
