Unhappy Got into an accident and bent K-Member, need help

I ended up hitting a curb at a decent rate of speed over the weekend. I knocked off my Classic chin spoiler, bent my drivers side front rim and popped the tire. After inspecting the front suspension my k-member is bent. The wheel is pretty much all the way to the right to keep the car straight.

I have a couple of questions.

Should I get another OEM or aftermarket k-member and why? If aftermarket which one?

How much should I expect to pay to have one installed?

BMR says you can put theirs in with handtools in two hours but that seems a little too good to be true. Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

May as well trade up to a aftermarket K-member. Don't know how easy it is to get a OEM one. Perhaps you could have the car checked out to make sure other parts of the chassis and suspension aren't bent out of spec. before installing whatever K-member you go with. Good luck.

Can't go wrong with BMR. Try to install yourself, if you have problems, go professional.

The rest of the suspension looks ok, I had a pro check it out. He thinks just dropping the K-member in will bring the steering back to center. I'm going to order the BMR unit today so I can get the ball rolling. Then put the car in storage until spring and do the body work then. Thanks for the input guys!

Definitely go aftermarket since it has to be replaced. It will be stiffer, about half the weight, and take up less overall room which will make your car easier to work on.
