Got er back from the shop!

Got home from a hunting trip yesterday and went straight to the body shop to pick up my baby. They did an excelent job as far as I can see so far, although it's a little hard to tell in the rain. In case you missed the story: my carport fell onto the car in a windstorm and damaged it. Nice to finally drive it again after almost a month. I'm going to store it at my mom's for the winter so it doesn't sit in the elements. I'll have a garage built this spring. I just took the top pic a minute ago, the bottom one was what it looked like before. The techs at the shop all say leave the stripes off. They think it looks alot better that way. What do you think? All my friends and family say they liked the stripes. The clean look definately has it's advantages, like when you want to buff it out. I had problems with the stripes water spotting as well. Whatever I decide, it won't get done for a few months, so I have time to think about it. I have 1K deductable on my ins. and they took $580 off that for the stripe allowance so it was only $420 out of pocket. Pic below isn't very good but you get the idea. White spot is from street light or my flash.

I like the stripes. When I get mine I might have to get that GT300 stripe like you have!

yeah, I agree, but I'll probably use the money it would take to paint them to help build my garage.
