Hey guys. Snapped off a couple pics yesterday as it has been a while. I also threw a couple pics of the shock, spring, and lca install and a shot of the rear axle which is now painted rather than rusty.
Nothing fancy as I did not bother driving to a decent location to have a nice backdrop and the lighting was just ok. Mods are those listed in my sig. I added the aluminum trimmed 07' shift boot late last night so I snapped a pic of that too.
The mud flaps were on for the winter and are probably coming off this weekend. With all the rain and crap happening this week, I just left them on for another few days after I pulled the snow tires off.

I strongly recommend you take another look at the spoiler again as it's not the GT500 spoiler but in fact is the factory Mustang GT spoiler..
Thanks for the kind comments guys!
The chin spoiler/splitter is from the 500 and modified to fit a gt bumper. The deck spoiler is stock GT trim.
Maybe 1" spacers. I have the brake setup from the gt500, and H&R spacers waiting for install. The clearances work out fine. But I want to install the spacers and see how the car looks. By my measurments the wheels should be as far out as the aftermarket 9" wide bullitts.
Otherwise, I will need two new sets of wheels (summer and winter), or figure out something different for the brakes.
But either tomorrow or next week I am going to do some more fitting.

Yo classj, I just wanna know how your gonna fit those brembos with those rims?

Thanks. The interior is not bad to keep clean at all. I switch to different mats in the winter to keep the crap off the carpet. I have had her a year next week and it is still new in every way driving it every day.
One of my other cars has a white interior. Now that is a challenge. The gray is not too bad so far. Especially since the leather is very washable and coated, not natural leather like a porsche or something would have.
Splitter is right from the ford dealer for 40 bucks. There are threads about this. It takes a little experience with this stuff and alot of patience and time to get it to fit right. 4 holes need to be drilled in the car. Only thing that needs grinding is the new splitter.
I also had to machine a custom plug out of black delrin for the rect hole in the middle which took an hour or so on a mill, and find plugs for the others. I have about 10 hours on it all together amd it was on and off the car at least 10 times.
The cervini's looks like a option too. But I would want it in black plastic or poly. I have scraped mine lightly a couple times in really steep driveways with no damage at all visible since it is just plastic.
If it were painted I would have to touch it up I guess.
That is one of the reasons it is black plastic to begin with I would think.

Also, I couldn't agree with you more. The plastic is definitely the way to go, because it can take a lot more abuse without showing it too badly.
The only problem with the conversion: if something were to happen where it needed replacing, I don't think I would spend the time to redo it. Although, realistically, it would only take a couple of hours to redo, since the hard part of aligning it is already done.
I agree. I love the look but I am not sure what I would do if it got hit.
The car could be put back together in an accident in the same timeframe without the splitter. Then I bet using the original as a guide I could drill the holes and grind it in a couple hours now that I know what to do. And as long as my plastic square plug did not get lost or damaged, that would be reusable. And I have a sack of about 100 round plugs from mcmaster carr.
The only other two front ends I like are the roush and shelby gt500. But I want to keep my grill mounted fog lamps, so I would need a different grill or something custom for the shelby nose.
Wayne, the springs are H&R sports, 3/4" drop approx front and rear. I did them with bilsteins at the same time. But I love the handling. Ride is a little firmer. But ride quality overall is improved, less suspension noises, just everything is better. I have a post about this.
I think my rear bumpstops are hitting under some conditions though as they are close, so I have to address that.
I threw on the 1" H&R spacers today in prep for the brembos. They look great so far. I had to knock the tips off the studs on the car with a cutoff wheel and dress them as they were hitting the wheels even with the pockets. But that only took an extra 10-15 min a wheel maybe. But it had to be done.
So as long as the car is ok over the next couple weeks. I will bolt on the brembo stuff.
