just called the Ford customer sevice line. aparently i got moved up another week because there are a number of vehicles that have similar options. now i have to wait a bit longer to take delivery. im scheduled for week of 9/5 now :bang: must be that spoiler delete

You dealer told you if your build week was 8/29 you'd have it by the 5th?

 

I have spoiler delete and today I got LOCKED into production "as of Aug 31 for the week of Aug 29."

 

When the dates reverse, I believe that means the actual day. So you're getting built on Aug 31. I got a similar: "as of Sep 2 you are locked in for the week of Aug 29".

I can feel your pain Chris. I ordered my Mustang on March 28th. Looks like we ordered the same car. I ordered a Redfire GT 5 speed, IUP, Shaker 500, Wheel Locks, Bullitt Rims, Spoiler, Side Airbags and the Active-Anti Theft. I'm sure if we ordered an automatic we would have had our Mustangs by now. But what fun is a Mustang GT without a 5 speed!

 

I would think your delay is probably for the bullits over anthing else. I just got my message today that as of Aug 31 I am locked in for production for week of Aug 29.
