Interior color opinion
I ordered Tung. w/ Light Graphite because I saw this picture and wanted to be a little different. And also because of the heat. I just hope it looks like this picture and not any lighter. Thinking of changing so just wanted some opinions while I have time. Thanks.
My Torch Red GT with light graphite interior and IUP is being built this week. My interior should look just like the picture with the exception of cloth seats instead of leathter. So I'd have to say ... yeah ... it's a good color combo.
I've got the light graphite in mine. I really like it. Its hard to see from the pick above because of the lighting, but the console (including the lid) and upper dash are black, while the rest is light. The contrasting colors look very good.
Here's a pic of mine, from before they fixed the seat cover on the passanger side.

I ordered the same color combination, and was a little apprehesive until a saw an 06 V6 on the lot last weekend with the same combo. It looked very good! For more contrast, (and to hide dirt) I am thinking of getting rid of the light grey floor mats in favor of dark charcoal ones. They should match up well with the dash and center console, and add contrast to the light grey.......

That is a very acurate representation of the LG interior. You will be verry happy with it plus it will look different. There are going to be ALOT of Tungsten with ICAP. Don't worry your first choice is usually your best

If keeping the car is a long term plan, you will regret it. If you are interested on finding out why, look at a few 3 - 5 year old Mustang with a light color interiors.

porno red is right!! Thats another one that will not hold up well over time - have you ever seen a couple year old vette with red leather? It doesnt wear well - not to say that gm has good leather anyway, but still - if your going for that 70's **** star look, I'd also get red...but to each his own. Sorry I'm a big fan of good old black.
I think the LG is going to be too monotone, and that is why I am going with dark charcoal for my Tungsten GT. The ICAP looks good now but I am concerned with the long term and I think it may look not as stylish in a couple of years.
I personally think it'll be too monotone especially with the Tungsten. I prefer more contrast but that's me. The LG is nice and I've seen it in quite a few cars at the Ford dealerships but dark charcoal is the way to go with the Tungsten. I picked it for my 05 Sonic Blue for ease of clean up. The LG I'm sure will get dirty fast (chances are you'll end up putting seat covers on it so it won't get dirty) and I'm gonna have enough of a hard time keeping the outside clean in NYC as it is.
Still it's your decision but I am biased...either way you'll love it!
