So i called ERL today and she said i am scheduled to be built week of Aug. 29 (WOOHOO) Does that mean im serialized and should have a vin. And when can i expect to take delivery in Maryland. I know this has probably been discussed at length so sorry for starting a new post.

 

Yep, ur scheduled. Sometime this week the message will change to "As of (someday that week;your build date) your unit is scheduled for production week of 8/29"

I'd guess delivery towards the end of Sept.

 

I'd also say delivery is normally about 3-4 weeks after build week.

 

Gertstang, Where at in Maryland are you picking up your mustang from?

I work in Columbia, I ordered my mustang at Bob Bell Ford but that was back in March and I still don't have a vin #. Must be nice to know your mustang is coming soon. Went to the dealer on Saturday and they said I'll hopefully have a vin # in 2 weeks.

 

I havnt heard anything from my dealer since i had him fax me my DORA on 8-5. Been getting all my info from ERL. And according to her build week is 8-29. Maybe ill call dealer tomorrow to confirm!
