It came out when I was 10-11. I saw it every weekend at the movies till it left....Then I rented it on video every second.......
Then I watched it on TV everytime it has came on EVER. When TiVo arrived- Top Gun went into the wishlist. Then I got it on DVD for my bday..........
Kept the movie poster in my bedroom for years until I moved out of my parents....
Lived in San Diego-Spent many happy thousands of hours at Kansas City BBQ, Got a wild hare and went out to Mirimar to see the planes.......Moved to Va Beach, and spent many a happy hour at the reststop by the runway so I could watch the planes take off. Spent many more hours on the beach watching them play games......
Came within a hare of naming my daughter Charlotte. (Didn't want her called Charlie) ALWAYS wanted a little Ghia like Charlies too. Oh and I did a very quick stint running radar too because I Was so fascinated.
Favorite line: I don't know but its looking good so far.

oh yea and... "MMM Maverick"... Maverick (or anything Tom Cruise-Top Gun related) has been my nickname/screenname for years before I came up with this one (AIM: jstomcruise, yahoo: jstomcruise, other forums CP Maverick or Maverick). I never bothered to keep track of when I saw the movie or anything. But there was a time period when I was working at Hollywood video that I would put it on every night when I locked the doors, plus it was the first DVD I bought with my DVD player 2?3? years ago. The movie came out when I was 5, so you have a little head start, but I've had the VHS version in my house since the day it went on sale, plus the times at work at Hollywood, the times at work at Blockbuster, and the number of times I watched it instead of watching television.
Anyways, back to topic:
