just got an article on the 05.... ill try and post it ...some nice quotes were

" The body-in-white is probably the best we've ever done. Excellent dimensional control. Great margins, great fits and great compatibility"

"In the case of the 2005 mustang, it is a foundation that is stiffer and offers better handling than the vehicle it is replacing"

"The other thing that we've put in place is a better timing plan with more cadence to engineering reviews and a much smoother launch process"

Nothing really new...but the article raves about how great the dimensional control is. Out of the ones ive seen i can't believe how nice of a fit they have.

Other news...i talked to a kid last night who rides in 10/11 second cars like every night of the week. He said the 05 is a dog ...but that it did come out very nice from a dead dig. He said that it was slow top end....but hey he thinks machs are slow as well... Only time will tell...but for my buddy to admit that was a shock....i think we have a winner on our hands in terms of a great 1/4 mile car. I mean heck stock rx-7 third gens only run 13.5's ....look how many of those are in the 11's now. I cant wait

That the fit and finish is excellent on the new stang. It has been assumed and advertised but its always great to have it confirmed.

yea ive heard from several 'people' that this is going to blow everyone away...its a mach 1 for the price of a gt with the fit, finish, and ride quality of a mazda....all for like 27 max.......i think ford has a hit on their hands...what other car can you get that has 300 hp (under-rated) for that price? nothing.

You big dawg you.

Awesome.. glad to hear about the fit and finish.. let's hope they hold up after the warranty is gone. I swear.. cars can tell when it's almost up.
