Thumbs up

I am getting frustrated with the wait for my GT that was ordered in February.

My dealer was very positive about my order until recently, so as a "plan B" I am searching for a dealer with a GT on the lot.

I have been searching the Ford Direct website and it will only let me search for dealers in small groups within a zip code. That is fine if I only want to look in a small area.

What I want to do is a "global" search that will allow me to search for GTs by state or region. That way I can see what is available (dealer inventory) for a large area - and get a page of results that would tell me, for example that there are 4 GTs in the Chicago area, 2 in St Louis, etc.

Any suggestions? Am I overlooking something on the Ford Direct site?

The closest you can get to that is AutoTrader. The Dealers have a search thing but that is about it.

Thanks - that is what I figured. I have spent most of the day going through dealers in Indiana on Ford Direct. Very tedious. And no GTs...

At least not Sonic Blue, 5 spd., etc.

On to Ohio...

many dealers aren listing them online. i found many more gt's by calling dealers directly. its a pain but you get better results.

Keep calling and if you want it bad enough travel for it. I live in Alabama and will be picking mine up in South Carolina in early to mid July.

After I got feed up with the wait I started calling dealers that were within a distance I was willing to travel. The online inventories were showing nothing, but I found out when I called the dealers that there were a few GTs out there. Try calling them direct, you may just get lucky, I did.
