I don't know if I am having a dumb blonde moment or what, what I have been racking my brain and searching...and can't figure out how much my car is going to be. My DORA isn't adjusted for X-plan, because I just told my dealership I am eligable for it.
Here are MSRP prices-
2005 GT Premium- $25,705
IUP $450
Active Anti-Theft $255
Front Side Air bags $370
total $26,780
Everything else is standard. Does anyone know what x-plan pricing would be on the above car?
Also, does x-plan pricing include D&D and tax & license?
Thanks for the help, I am totally lost. I have searched fordirect.com and these forums trying to find a car ordered or built like mine.

Your MSRP is missing destination. The actual pricing is msrp: $27,405, invoice: $25,331.46 and x-plan: $25,367.35.
The x-plan includes destination but doesn't include taxes or dmv fees.

I heard you can figure tax and license here in CA, by taking 9.5% of the price of the car.
Can anyone verify this? My salesman told me this...

Hey Surfn, I paid about $28k, out the door. Tax, License, XPlan. Then I dropped 6k into it, and financed 22k.
We got almost the same exact car, on the same plan, at the same dealer. I would expect you would pay the same.

I bought the car from the dealer for about $25,200, and after tax and license wrote a check for about $27,660.

Taxes don't apply until the final sale price of the car. So car price minus trade-in minus downpayment equal taxable amount.
As for as X-Plan, take MSRP * .925 will get you pretty close.

Hey, three questions:
Is that right about only paying taxes on the owed amount (after trade-in and down payment)?
Thus, if I pay cash for the car, no taxes?
What the heck is upside down (somehow i feel like I am walking into a joke with this one but ... ) ?
