Getting my car dynod for the first time tomorrow on a Mustang Dyno. I only have the K&N and bamachips tunes, any idea what kind of numbers I should expect? I've seen alot of numbers for Dynojet dynos, but I read that mustang dynos are lower numbers so not sure what I should be seeing.

Well, just got back from the shop.
Had some issues on the dyno, it kept spiking when my car shifted for some reason (I have an auto and with bamachips tune if shifts hard) If you look at the numbers it stated they were about +100hp off, but looking at the graph you can see I was at 267hp 275tq with his race tune and 261hp 268tq with the perfomance tune, like I said we had some issues so these may be off slightly.
According to the printout though it says I'm at 382/433, so thats what I think I should tell people, LOL

 

I still believe that all dyno's are not created equal. Even Dyno Jets are not the same.

I would say go to 3 different places and get a dyno and chose the one you want or better yet average all 3.

 

You didn't say you had an auto or I would have said 265 plus you need a special tune for the auto on the dyno that will keep your car in fourth preventing those spikes.

 

Does the special tune just start the car out in 4th? The car stayed in 4th since OD was off, but obviously it started out in 1st and went through the gears.

 

No it still runs up to fouth but locks something up in the transmission can't remember what call Bama he will hook you up
