Details -
1250 miles on car before trip.
300 miles round trip - Indiana to Ohio and back. 60 mph.
Drove conservatively - no throttle mashing.
According to the computer, average mpg was 27.5 one way - 27.3 back.
I was quite surprised, and impressed.
I have been getting 17.5 to 18.5 in the city.
