Yes let us know, and yes by far one of the best 3rd party conversions, I love the PJ's, especially the back bumper because the relocated the license plate

i hope it works, would love to get down to only needing a key with a bottle opener and a house key hanging off of it, the disjointed remote is something that i am not a big fan of

Now don't blame me, I can only confirm that it works on an '08 I've heard it works on an '07 but have no experience with it. I do know that it does not work on 05 and 06's.

Best thing is to try the RKE, because the ignition should work on any year, but the RKE doesn't. So if it doesn't just sell on ebay or to someone with an '08.

i won't blame you. i didn't mean for it to come across that way. but, i just hope it works. would be great to be able to lose the extra remote.

I hear ya, these keys are over 100 at the dealer from what I've heard so the ebay ones are cheap. Just have to watch you don't press a button when you turn the ignition, lol!

The keys are $35-$45 at the dealership. The 4-button fobs are about $30 at the dealership.

Maybe it's the programing (Some don't realize that you can do it yourself), one way or another the dealership will take your money!

too lazy to hunt down my owner's manual. found this on the web. is this how to re-program the PATS on the mustang?

If you want to add a key....
**You must have two original keys to perform this procedure. If you only have one key, you WILL have to take it to the dealer to get it programmed**
1. Insert and existing (working) key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder ON (RUN) and back to OFF. Ignition should stay on for at least ONE SECOND.
3. Remove the existing key and, within TEN seconds, insert a second working key and turn it to ON (RUN) and the back OFF. Ignition must be in ON for at least ONE second, but no more than TEN seconds. Remove the key.
4. Insert the new key before TWENTY seconds have elapsed and turn it to ON (RUN). Leave it the ON position for at least ONE second and turn back to OFF.
5. The security light will light up for THREE seconds to indicate that the new key has been successfully programmed.
6. To program additional keys, repeat steps 1 through 5

About a year or so ago, somebody posted here about how he combined his key with the remote fob after removing the black plastic head from the key and digging the little transponder chip out. It took a bit of work but it looked really slick (like the Fusion key) and would definitely work for the '05s -07s.
