Fun night at automall....

Was at automall tonight to go pick up mom's toyota (ya toyota's need repairing too) and i thought i would pop by ford...It was worth my time! They had a GT in showroom (had to crawl underneath to checkout the whole rear engine thing...too cool)...salesman says it's only one of two in all of canada (beats me?) He then says wanna see another cool car,and he takes me around back where they just got in a wicked looking shelby GT 500...red (some guy's dream had just come in) he pops hood etc ,give me the whole tour while guy was inside doing his paperwork...I ask him if there any 07's in yet and he takes me out to lot where they had a whole bunch (thought we wheren't getting in canada for a while)..even had a couple CS's in (white looks great in them)...i notice prices seemed kinda low and asked what gives?...he says there going to match the "ford family pricing" thing that they have for the 06's to the 07,s also (even though doesn't show on ford canada web site)...now im not sure if this is just this dealership (richport ford...richmond b.c canada) but sure seemed like a pretty good deal (CS's where about 5000 below msrp too)

So all in all a pretty fun night...and even left thought in my head to maybe pull the trigger finally...

That's a great visit to the dealership, wish more places were that friendly. I always feel dirty after leaving a dealership.

I saw that Shelby on Steveston and Railway today!! looked so hot!! I just ordered my 2007 Grabber Orange GT at that dealership a few weeks ago.... the GT they have is by far my favorite color scheme... but as far as it being one of two i highly doubt that as i have seen another in the same Gulf color scheme in Toronto last week when i was there on business...i found that the sales guys at Richport were not very knowledgeable... but the Sales Managers are both awesome and very nice to deal with!
BTW nice to see a fellow BC Mustang nut on here!

I was told family pricing for all 06/07 but that options would be msrp...but that was from saleman and not John...

I was also at Richport a few days ago walking around the whole place after closing. Didn't see any Shelbys. But yeah, they're selling '07 GTs under the Family Pricing scheme until the end of August. So it's a great chance to get into a loaded GT coupe with all the options (including NAV) for about $37K (CDN).

the shelby had just come in for some guy (he was doing paper work) it was around side near parts department in garage...was red with white stripes....they where also showing it to some guy who had ordered one (gave him call to show him what his will look like...he told me he doesn't think his will arrive for a few more months)...the car was stunning, and would be a real attention getter, and the motor was

Theres like 200 Ford GTs allowed in for the last year... I think he missed 2 zeros

Yeah, I've seen 07s in dealerships up here for a while now.
About a month ago I saw a GT/CS at the dealership, and the V6 pony package with the ugliest stock spoiler EVER on a mustang.
