Fuel injector question

Had to reseat my fuel injectors on my 07 GT.
When putting the new O rings on Noticed 7 of them are brown tip with
the number 4L8E-A4A.
Number eight has a purple tip with the number 4L8E-BA. Can't find anything
on the purple one. Any ideas? Is this okay or should they all match?

I don't have your answer but was curious why you needed to do the work since I also have an '07. High mileage on your GT or ???

I changed my spark plugs. And a few of them broke. So when getting the bottom part of the plug out I broke the seals on the o rings on the
fuel injectors and was getting a gas smell. They told me I needed to replace the o rings. So far seemed to fix the problem. If you haven't changed your spark plugs yet, I still have the tool I will sell you. I had 95,000 miles on the original plugs.

Thanks for the info. My trusty mechanic will change them out for me one day (still only 30k miles on mine). I've heard the stories about the difficulty that you experienced.

After driving it a couple of days. Still getting a gas smell. Going to the shop thursday to see if they can figure out where the smell is coming from.

The shop could not find anything wrong with my car. Said they could not reproduce the problem. Will drive it another few weeks to see if it has fixed itself or gone away.
