Fuel efficient bandwagon

Almost jumped on it yesterday.
Went to the local VW dealer and drove home a GTI.
Fun car. The DSG is pretty cool feature.
I was doing 90 on the way home with it and the computer stated I was getting 26mpg....that's kinda cool....
Bottom line....no thanks. The fun of the GTI wore off in about 20 mins. I couldn't sleep last night knowing my mustang was in a strange place and not in my garage....
Took the GTI back this morning and was never happier getting my mustang back..
It's like I got a new one all over again.......

Buy it and keep the Mustang. I just bought a Mazda 3.

Fuel efficient? 26 MPG @ 90 is not much better than a Mustang GT... I get about 24 MPG doing that speed. I'm glad you came to your senses and got your Mustang back!!!

Ditto here too. Excellent MPG on my GT. Not that I really care. But t'will be a very cold day down here in FL that I would give up that toy of mine. Keeps me young (sort of)
