about time! Now we all know why they put those FUGLY ones on the car. Now we are all going to buy the ones that should have been on it to begin with! And of course make more MONEY!

Thumbs down

I ordered some silver ones and was very disappointed in the paint finish. I was expecting a smooth, metallic silver finish similar to the factory 4V valve covers and what I got was something that looked very close to primer, along with a very rough finish. I promptly sent them back for a refund. I will have my stockers powder coated.

Wow I'm supprised usually the FRPP stuff is nice. Lets hope you just got a bad set. I was thinking about the chrome ones but the price is still to high.

I like the silver ones......

$8 got me high temp aluminum paint and some clearcoat.

A few hours of effort - took my stock ones off, painted..... and the look just like that....

I was surprised as well. I think they were painted as intended, but I never had an example pic to go by. The texture was similar to that of the black wrinkle covers, but I never saw a description indicating that.

By having my own parts painted/powdercoated, at least I have the liberty of smoothing out the casting flash present along the mounting flange ahead of time. I'm pretty picky.
