Yes I did a search. Can't search for just three letters. Would like to know if anyone has a pic with the full front bra. Other than the catalog pic.

Thanks in advance.

I know someone got one for road trips.... I can't remember where I saw it though.

That was me for the road trips. It's ugly, just like the pics in the brochure, so it's not on for the picture you want. However, one benefit is the hood piece which is seperate from the whole thing, it goes on and off in 30 seconds. I've left this on a couple of times just so the hood stays clean. It's like having an ugly plastic wind deflector but it goes away in a snap. Here's how it looks......"not hideous" as SixtySix would likely say, but not pretty either. I'll post pics of the full front when I'm ready to put it on for my cottage drive.

Hope this helps a bit, Mark

I don't like the look or pain of a bra on my car. Most people I know that use them only put them on for long trips. Of course stone chips can happen anytime. So tomorrow I am having X-Pel put on the front bumper (all I can afford right now). They offer the hood piece but I'm just not sure I can live with that line running across the hood.

Just go with 3M's 'Clear Bra'.
You can barely see it.
It protects better than 'regular' bras.
You can get it custom cut to your cars application.
Protects against dings and bugs!

They have some aftermarket clear coatings you can apply to the front bumper and hood to protect from small rocks. My girl would never wear a bra. My wife, yes... my car, no.

car bras gather up sand and dirt under them and act like sand paper on the paint when they vibrate at highway speeds - I made this mistake once - never again

We did X-Pel last month ... can you see the hood, bumper, rocker panel or wheel well lines???? I can but then again I know exactly where they are.

I'm not knocking the product, I had it put on my front bumper. The kit works great on the bumper, most edges follow body seams and you really can't see it. We did a test fit of a piece on the hood. Maybe it's a color thing but I felt it was pretty noticeable on my Torch Red. I may still do it when I get the money because I think this stuff is great.

My guy will put on clear bra for 250, 800 is way over priced.
14 inch up hood, head lights, fogs, turn signals, rocker panel and wheel wells. When I get the reviews painted he will do them at that time all for 250.

If you can get the 3-M/X-Pel installed for that price I'd jump on it. That's less than whosale for the kits; not to mention the 4-6 hours labor involved to do it right.

woody,
Nice looking ride. It sounds like you can see the lines, which you would have to expect. Otherwise, how do you like the product? Does it have any problems when you wash the car?

Anybody else have any experiences to share on this XPel product? I'm definitely interested.

Thanks,

I don't think he uses the pre-cut kits he gets the bulk film then downloads the patern for your car. I have seen he's work and he does a very good job. He also did my tint and it looks very nice.
