Ok so like so many of the rest of us I alternate between sereral mustang websites and fordvehicles.com and drool over the 05. Is it just me or has ford's website been slow as dirt for like the last 2 weeks? What's the deal did they skimp on some bandwidth or something? Oh well not that it really matters just a boredom rant...

I think it has something to do with the IUP delay.

I work for part of the internet division at Ford. Speed of the site depends on a lot of things:

-site traffic
-# of active ford servers
-if they are making updates to any part of the site
-your ISP

and probably 1,000 other things. Sometimes all you need to do is close your browser and reload and you may hit a different server that is running faster.

Seems unbearable slow to me, too. It was faster before it was updated a few weeks ago. Now it's very slow to load all the links. I've given up on it several times recently.

I have given up on it too. Seems as though the update slowed things down or something. I have different ISP's at home and at the office and it's horribly slow at either place. Oh well, maybe they are focusing attentionon building our cars instead of fixing the website. That's cool with me, won't need to stare at the website once my car gets here.
