hey, and even if you do have a car infront of you. just hit the brake, let the car get some distance and do your thing. if you get kicked out you get kicked out. atleast you got a good impression!

Back. Purp Hayz, it was my fault for not reading the forum rules.
Anyhoo, yeah, tomorrow is going to be sweet! I really ought to just pass all the fools in front of me and push that baby to its limits. What are they gonna do, crash into me or put the tire spikes out? If I do that, I'll make sure to get it on tape.
Actually, I really should behave, since Ford is being nice enough to do this for us.

Amy, you're telling me....the bloody thing comes with a 132 page instruction manual :bang:
A far cry from my first "mobile brick" from Cellular one (now Verizon) that I had about 10 years ago. Ah, the good old days. 3 pound cell phones, Pearl Jam making good albums, and a Taurus that I was never ashamed to drive (they were best sellers back then)....

Yeah, I'll try to be unbiased about my review of the ride, but it's gonna be tough.
BTW, for anyone who will be up in Detroit to drive the 05, look for me and say hi. I have long, black hair, look like a biker, and today I have my white "Hoofbeats are louder than heartbeats" shirt on. I'll be rolling into Belle Isle about 4pm, and my driving time is at 5pm. Peace.

PaperTarget, I sat in the car last Saturday but didn't get to drive it. I am 6'5" and 260 lbs and have size 13 feet and I fit surprisingly well. I closed the door and really got comfortable and moved around and tested the leg room and head room. There really is a lot of room if you move the seat all the way back and to it's lowest setting. I can't wait for some of these people to report back and see how they feel.

Great, I'm glad to hear it. That's two people over 6' that said they fit. I'm waiting for it to come out or near me so I can sit in it myself. If I can't fit...that 05 Lightning looks pretty nice.
