You can upgrade to get the racing stripe and painted brake calipers?
I don't see that on the order form or is just different dealerships will do different upgrades.etc.? [/b][/quote]
Take another look that is for the "Ford GT" not the Mustang.

edit: Sorry did not look this far, I'm bad.

Nope. 425=50 state emissions.
My order showed Temp delay today also. It's normal. We've got two months till they start building them

QUOTE BEK355 (Posted on June 29, 2004, 8:16 PM)
This report means that cars pulled for production on week 25 will be built the week of September 20, the third week of production. Meaning cars that were given vins last week will be built the end of September for delivery to dealers in mid October.
So, Bek, is this a constant formula? For example, my order for a mustang is gonna be given 7/5 or so. Does this mean my Stang will be made around 10/30?
Yes, pretty much. I've never really tracked it but it make sense that it will follow a sequence.

Bek, Kevin, or anyone I missed, I have a question...as a car buyer is there anything I can do to assure that the order gets pulled by ford...I ordered mine on 5-25-04, and as of now the dealer said that the order has not been pulled by ford yet, I stopped by the dealership last thursday (6-24-04) and they showed me that the status was "clean unscheduled order" priority: 10, Order type: 1, Price Level: 500

.They are a smaller dealer (Charlotte, MI) and they are allowed 2 cars, I am the only customer that has ordered a mustang from their dealership so far and they have said that I will be their first one. But the order has still not been pulled yet, should I be worried or am I just being over cautious....thank you for reading this and for your responce.
The first allocation of cars are spread out over the next 6-8 weeks so your dealer will have 2 cars allocated in that time frame. If you are their first and only sold order they should be able to tell you exactly what date their first allocated car is set for and if it will be yours.

thanks for the reply bruce, I think I'm getting a little run around from the dealer, all they told me on thursday was, you are the first one to put a order in, so you will be the first one to get one from this dealer...the status is "clean unscheduled order" and we won't know anymore untill ford "pulls" the order, and for that we just have to wait, since we are a smaller deal than a metropolis (sp) dealer it may take us longer to have it pulled from ford...do you know if that is correct about the larger the dealer the sooner the order is pulled by ford? anywho, it looks like I'll kust wait it out a few weeks and them call them back...thanks for your help
