As I've stated in other threads, I think they look great. The function is an issue though, they should be beamlights and not foglights.

I am still not sold on them, I like the V6 grill better just for that reason.

Not bad really. Seems Ford sort of split the difference between the '65-66 foglights and the "69 quad headlights styles, perhaps to an insufficient design resolution. Were it me penning the lights, I'd either make them a touch smaller and move them more distinctly inboard or keep them the equal size as the headlights but push them outboard, more closely grouped with the headlights. The current design seems a touch "neither fish nor fowl" in effect.

As for functionality, I wonder how readily they could be replaced by any number of aftermarket upgrades, be they fog or driving lights? Are they a standard sized bulb/lens (sealed beam) unit that could be readily replaced by current off-the-shelf lights (I'd slap a pair of Hellas or Cibies in there in a fireman's minute).

Any driver comments on how well the headlights and the foglights actually function, both in terms of overall brightness (quantity) and more importantly, in terms of beam pattern (quality)? The SN95 headlights seemed pretty mediocre on both counts.

I like the fog lights and they are placed exactly where they should be. However, the only change I am looking to do is replace the front bumper and move the fogs side-by-side in the middle of the bumper, lower opening.

I like the way CDC placed them, that's an option for *real* xenon foglights.

The fog lamps are very powerful, with a beam that is low and cuts off with the low beams.

By the way, the low beams have a very linear, level cutoff. They aren't HID projector sharp, but are amazingly level and sharp for a regular lamp.

I think they look great. I also think this car looks bad azz at night with the fog lights on. It's just tough looking, to me.

Love the fogs, their size and location. They're one of the best things about the car. They'd be stupid to change them. I liked them in pictures, but when I saw them in person I loved them.

(IMP)...I WOULD HAVE MADE THE FOGS SLIGHTLY RECTANGULAR LIKE THE 70 MACHS WITH A YELLOW OR BLUE TINT.......AND OF COURSE THE HORSE AND BARS IN PLACE OF THE PONY.......

BUT, DID I MENTION THEY LOOK GOOD AS H**** THE WAY THEY ARE!

IS THERE ANY DOUBT A MUSTANG GT IS COMING DOWN THE ROAD........OF COURSE NOT.....WE ALL HAVE PREFERENCES.....BUT IT REALLY IS A NICE SIGNATURE TO THE GT.
