I'm only storing my ride for 3 months but i will have it in a storage unit so i don't want to start it at all. Fog or not to fog?

I'm sorry for asking a stupid question but what is fogging the cylinders? I've never heard of it. Make sure you drive most of the gas out of it before you put it up. People forget that sometimes.

Actually you should store the car with a full tank of gas, that gives less room in the tank for condensation to form. water and gas = bad.
fogging the cylinders is just putting some sort of oil down all eight cylinders with the theory of stopping rust from forming. Its usually done for storage times of more then 6 months but i'm not sure about 3 months.

The ethanol can seperate from the gas even without the extra water from the condensation. Might as well just leave it as close to empty as posible. I wouldn't bother with the fogging. You're just talking about storing it over the winter right? I havn't heard of anyone having problems after a storage.

For the gas get some "STA-BIL" Gas Stabilizer. I've used it in vehicles stored for a few months and no problems with starting afterward.

Here is the method that I have used for 30 years, and it works great for storage up to 6 months:

Upon storing, add gas stabilizer and fill the tank.

Change the oil. Acids form in the oil. When you let old oil set, it can cause damage to the internals.

Disconnect the battery

At least once per month, reconnect the battery, and turn the engine over several times with out starting. If you let it run just a short time, you will have condensation form in the exhaust system. Probably not a problem with new stainless exhaust, but with older cars it just tear them up.

When taking out of storage, reconnect the battery, change the oil again. Check you fluid levels, brakes, trans, rear diff.

Start and let idle for a bit before running it hard for the first time.
