Does anyone make a Ford or Mustang logo black floor mat for the 05's? I'm looking at around $100. Any suggestions? Thanks

Really I actually checked all three before posting here. I found plenty for models up to 04 for some reason. Plenty of GTs and other models. And lots of plain black ones. I could not find mats for an 05 that are black AND have either the Ford oval or a Mustang logo. Good thing I'm thick skinned. I actually used Google to find this community btw
Now if someone can answer me constructively, I'm still looking for the above said mats. Here is a screen shot of my search history from the day I posted. I'd post shots of all my other searches, but I'm just a lazy fu$%er.

Didn't know what particular logo or color you were looking for so I just linked a couple quick ones. they have GT/CS and roush and shelby and cobra and whatever. like 20 different sets.

Y'know, for a smart-(alternate word for a donkey), you sure aren't all that helpful.

I did the same searches, and usually I turn up stuff, but in this case, nope. They're NOT available anymore. Nobody has them in any event, near as I can tell. If they do, it's a rarity, and apparently they are shy or something about puttin' them up... or are enjoyin' them in their car. Although you do show that Mustang script one... well, I wouldn't get 'em, but that's me. Doesn't match the '05-10 stuff well, IMO.

Point being, before you get all sarcastic or overlording, perhaps you should do the research before you type and look a fool.

OP, I wish I had better news, but yeah... plain looks like your option unless you want some Cobra ones or Shelby or such. You can't even get Lloyds to make them custom for the S197s. I went there and tried to custom order some. Nope. You can get them for '70, '95, '04... but not 05-10. I have no idea why, but I can't find them, and I want them too.



You could get some plain ones and then take them to an embroidery shop and get the logos put on. Probably wouldn't cost all that much to do, if you wanted them bad enough.

They are *all* different part numbers for those years. Even though they're S197, apparently there's something different in the floors in some way. And so while I was going to offer these up for your '05-'10:

Did you check Lloyd mats? They make to order using a variety of weight carpets. They also have a number of mustang logos licensed from Ford.

 

Lloyds will not make them for '05-14, apparently. I went to their webstore and nosir, can't get 'em. 'Course, maybe a phone is in order...?

 

I read somewhere that Lloyd's was no longer licensed to make Ford-logoed mats. Don't know for sure, though.

Most of my searches turned up either plain black. bleh. Rubber. yuck. Or Out of Stock. I guess I'll get the Dollar General ones again for $10. lol They lasted about 7 months. I'll keep looking in the interim. Thanks everyone.

 

Yep, my bad. Yeah i'm a dick and spouted off before really looking. But that's just me.

Apparently Ford doesn't have any licensing out there for anything past the 2000 model year. Any of the newer models is stock in hand but nothing new can be produced. I didn't know that.

As much as it pains me, my apologies for spouting off before knowing all the facts.

 

No harm. No foul. Apology not needed but is accepted. All my searches turned up duds or dead ends. And one would (automatically) think that these were easy enough to come by. Who knew?

 

I've seen them in other cars Tri-bar, GT and Running Horse logos. Seen them on websites too, just never tried ordering any. I wonder why they won't let anyone make them.

You would think that, but that's the weirdness of marketing, licensing and all that. Apparently Ford thinks it's not in their better interests to let anyone but them deal with '05 and up logos. Whyever that might be...

/Probably lawyers or a suit or something.

 

I'm going through the same dilema... I asked a vendor at a Mustang show last year and they said they couldn't sell them anymore because of the licensing issue. Can find Shelby ones and Tri-Bar but nothing with the GT logo.. mine are shot and want the GT ones but might have to settle for plain black ones..

 

I might be a dick but I'm not a complete *******. lol

Ford should make them then. Or FRPP. I would love a Ford Racing logo mat.
