If anyone else is thinking about taking advantage of this offer ( I did Today) there is another $500 off. If you join the American Quarter Horse Association over the net, it cost $35 for 1 year and you get $500 off any New Ford!!!

Today I was close to trading in my 2005 V6 for a 2006 GT with 0.00%. Because I financed the V6, I am actually having to take the equity loss on the trade in and add it to the GT 0% loan. My payments would go up around $65/month and I would be adding another 20 months.

My V6 has:
+ Mineral Grey
+ CDC spoiler
+ tinted windows
+ 17" GT tires
- 32,500 miles
- cloth interior
- no IUP
- pmts of $433/month, 51 payments to go (7.99% APR)

The GT I'm looking at is:
+ Screaming Yellow
+ 15 miles
+ leather interior
+ full IUP (my color, computer, chrome upgrade)
+ Shaker 500
+ stock spoiler
- pmts of $495, 72 payments (0.00% APR)

The GT is absolutely amazing, the power is truly a muscle car, and the sound of the engine roars! Plus the wife loves Yellow!

I've considered to mod my V6 adding a body kit, dual exhaust, but that's another $3,000. If I take the GT, I'm getting a whole lot more car, brand new, no 32,000 miles, but payments go up $65/mo and now I'm back to financing for another 72 months, and then there's the increase in gas and insurance rates to think about.

Dealer was pulling out his hair with me as I turned away and told him I have to consider. I don't know what the heck I want to do. The GT is so much more of a car, and I'll be paying extra for it. What to do?? Any advice???

I was thinking of doing the same thing

I am actually thinking of doing the same thing. What price are you quoted for the GT and how much will you lose on the V6?

Does anyone know eaxactly what time the 0% deal ends? Is it the end of the day on Tuesday? Do you have to take delivery before that time? Also, does anyone know if dealers are going to be open on the holiday? Thanks!

The timing of the 0%/72mo could'nt have came at a better time for me. I was going to order an 07 this month.

Needless to say I searched and found a car about a 100 miles from me and pulled the trigger.

06 GT Premium
Torch Red
Dark Charcoal Leather
IUP
18" Bullitts
AT
17 Miles

$387/month.

Program ends at midnight on the 5th. I don;t think any of our local Ford dealers are open on Monday but that's a regional thing.

Moving up a year from a V6 to a GT for that small of a payment increase is a no brainer as far as I am concerned. Looks like your dealer is giving you a very good deal.

I missed out on buying an 06. I wanted a Mustang GT Premium, Leather, 5 Speed Manual.
Two out of four dealerships I contacted, wouldn't even look for me. The other two called around but they were all gone. I sat next to my sales guy as he called nearly 20 dealerships for a dealer trade, but no such luck.
I live in Ohio, and he called dealerships in Mich., Ind, PA and Ohio.

The dealership I was at, had a screaming yellow Premium GT, Manual, but, yellow is the only color I do not like. There were a ton of 06 Automatics, but I don't want an auto.

So......I will continue to wait for an SE or 2008 model. Unless this 0% deal comes around for the 07's and then I'll give it another try.

Same thing here in Cali. Manuals sold out. I decided on an automatic and still ended up with my fifth choice. The first three were sold before my salesguy (the fleet manager) could arrange a dealer trade for them. The fourth had a $5K dealer installed tire-and-wheel package I didn't want. Luckily car #5 was still available. I picked it up on 9/2. X-plan and 0% interest for 72 months. I am a happy man!

Congrats!
I passed on the 06 auto, because my 2001 GT had an auto, and I had a 5 speed manual 87 GT as well.
I just sold my 87 GT last week. I owned it for over 11 years. So the 0% deal was a great opportunity I was unable to take advantage of.

Not too long ago, I had two Mustang GT's. Now, for the first time in over 11 years, I own none. I am hoping this 0% deal comes around again next year. I will have something next year, unless I hear some great news about an 08 or 09 SE(Boss, Mach1)
