I agree with you that the MG is an awesome color! I ordered this very same car, but ended up driving to Alabama to see it and buy it in person. I posted another thread in regards to "settling", as my car does not have leather (Kera), nor does it have the IUP and side air.
Although I really wanted leather, I wanted the car right now, and decided not to wait. I'm that way about things I'm afraid. I did see three of the other colors while I decided upon this car. I saw a black with white stripe and light charcoal interior (really nice looking combination), but I have owned black before, and washing often kinda lingers in my mind still. I saw the darker red (redfire?)also. I didn't care for the combination of black stripe with this car. If it had a lighter stripe, that would have looked better in IMHO. The red did have the IUP, and it looked great! Finally, I saw the silver GT w/ leather-WOW!
The GT is a FAST car. I don't care too much for speed any longer (almost 50 yrs. old), but I could sure appreciate the muscle when I test drove it. The leather (Dark Charcoal) really looked great with silver. I nearly bought this one, but kept staring at the MG throughout the morning, and finally decided that it fit my budget more closley than the GT.
I had around 150 miles to drive home after purchasing the MG, and really fell in love with the car during that time. I traded a 4 banger (Mini Cooper), so the difference in power was dramatic.
All of you who have ordered a MG are in for a treat. I hope the pics helped you (for those still waiting).

Greetings to Germany!
The options in this car include the Premium Packge (500 Shaker, optional wheels) and it's an auto tranny. That's it. I have to tell you that the sound system (500 Shaker) is so awesome! I never owned an upgraded sound system in any car, and this one is FANTASTIC!
I can tell you that I did see 1 GT headed for Europ when I bought mine. It was a Sonic Blue. The window sticker had a Big EXPORT 7 on it.
The V-6 does does have a "rumble", but NOT as deep as the V-8.

I've heard nothing but good things about Woody Anderson.
We do a lot of truck bodies for them.
Four in the shop right now with another six on order.
I'm curious.
What did you mean by, "...and it appeared everyone there knew I was coming."?

We just swapped our '01 Mineral GT with our cousin's '98 Black V6. You will see a bunch of different tones depending on angle and light. Ours went from grey to bronze depending on conditions.
GOOD LUCK WITH THE CAR
