While we were taking my daughter off to college, my dealer called me. My 2005 black GT convertible was finally delivered on Friday
My dughter is upset since she won't get to see it until October. Oh well.
He told me he would hide it out of sight until Monday. He did a good job, since I couldn't find it when I stopped by on Saturday evening. I think it is in the back of the body shop.
They delivered it side by side with a black 06 V6 convertible. I wonder if they will swap trunk lids between the two cars.
Mine has a spoiler, and the V6 does not?
Start up the 'nanners!!!!!!!

Congrats, Mike, yours and mine are the same, except I ordered the manual tranny. I should have mine in a few weeks.
Not much sleep for you tonight, eh?
Oh yeah, one pre-delivery nanner for you! :banana2:

My dealer was Roger Quirk at Maritime Ford in Manitowoc, WI. He gave me a fair deal. I paid MSRP even though going rate for GT's around here is 4-6K over sticker. Some dealers are even charging 1K over for V6 convertibles. Really, it was apretty great deal considering what other local dealers were doing.
He kept me informed of the cars progress or lack there of. The car was actually built on 6/1 and sat in material hold for about 11 weeks. He called me as soon as the truck pulled up on Friday, but we were already 1/3 of the way to Minneapolis. He had it already to roll this morning.
