Yeah man, I did that . Makes me fell a little better that I got something, except for 4 liter 6cylinder part. But I think that's happening to everbody. I appreciate your's and everyone else's in put on my situation. If it wasn't for this forum I might have already lost it and took hostages ina a Ford dealership by now. Just kidding. But seriously, I'm going to call the dealership tomorrow and double check my VIN. Anyway thanks again and I'll post tomorrow on my eternal struggle that I call "MUSTANG".

It works fine for my VIN, other than the goofy reversing of engine styles like Bobby noticed.

Just to let everybody know, the dealership faxed the VIN and it was in fact a T instead of a P. But that still doesn,t explain the ford rep being able to pull up my status. I wear I told her P. Whatever, but thanks for everyone's input. Maybe I can get back to my 1 banana dance.

Nah man, I don't work for Ford, I work for the USAF.

I just did a search using identification as the word (as the acronym vin was too short to allow for a search) and after a bit of digging located this site reference. Enjoy

https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/vin_...ls/default.asp#
Does that site show you the current status of the car, or just decode the VIN?

It just decodes you're VIN. You have to have a fleet account to get order status.

The First part doesn't jive with my VIN either, and I got the GT as well.

1ZVHT82H
Mine too. The beginning is different. Mine starts with 1ZVFT82H. Also a GT.

On the VIN lookup, it said the 4th character "F" says
Restraint: BELT, ACTIVE, AIRBAG .

Looking up yours with the 4th character "H", it says the same thing. So whats the difference?

How does 146365 production sequence number sound? Supposedly build date is week of Jan 3.

Under the product sequence#, mine is 147497. Does that actually mean that they are already into 6 digit production?

So they've produced nearly 50,000 since September. That is a pretty impressive number. Maybe I'm mistaken in my assumption, but if I'm correct and they keep up that production rate then that would be around 150,000 units in the 1st year production give or take.

I think they are forecasting 180,000 for the year. The first few months were slower than what they are producing now.
