Finally got my Mustang

I just bought my brand new 2005 (yes the dealer still had one on the lot) Legend Lime V6 Convertible. Had to trade in my brand new piece of junk Dodge Caliber but now I have the car I really wanted. Now the fun starts, any suggestions on problems to look for, TSB's that should be fixed or other mysterious anomolys that might come up on the 05's? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi and Welcome I hope you like it here as much as I do, the site has all the TSB's posted in the problems section, good luck and happy driving! Oh and some pics of the car would be nice.

Hey Norm, welcome to the forums, and congrats on your new car. I have several friends who have Legend Lime Mustangs, and they would beat me if I didn't refer you to the website, Legend Lime Registry. Its a site dedicated to the Legend Lime color. You can even register your car there. Hope you enjoy it, and post some pics when you get a chance.

Congrats on your new Pony!

I hope you got a screaming deal on the car! WOW... 2005 is now a 2 year old car, I wonder why they had it left over?

Probably because LL may not have been a very popular color...although I really liked it myself. I found my 2005 screaming yellow convertible 6 months ago, apparently a leftover that no one wanted for some reason. Picked it up for just under 22K including taxes and all the charges, best of all it's a manual transmission. But if you go and look at production numbers Legend Lime and Screaming Yellow were some of the least produced colors - mine is one of 282 screaming yellow manual trans. V6 Verts made in 2005. I was shopping for a Legend Lime Pony Package when I came across the yellow vert. Congrats on the new ride, bet it looks sharp!!
