Speaking of waitinglist and stuff, what is the average ammount of time it takes to order a car until it arrives at the dealer? (2004 for example)
I was planning on getting an 05 in January after some of the hype has died, when do you guys suggest I place the order then?

I doubt there will be a huge waiting list like the ones on the PT cruizer and New Beetle when they came out. Those cars had very low production for the first year and demand exceeded supply. The Mustang will be produced full force right away. Ford is planning on building 180,000 2005's on a shortened production year. There will be plenty to go around and if anything, 2006 will have the ability to have even more cars built.

So if I want one by 15 Jan 05, I need to place my order before Thanksgiving?
I read an article in Fortune Magazine on Bill Ford and the article mentioned that SUV's and pickups are HOT sellers, not sports cars. It went on to say that the 2005 mustang sells may not be among the fastest segments in the current market.

is this going to be the last year of the mustang? i heard that it is from someone. and do you think they will make a lot of these or keep them on a short production so that they will have some value over years?

Horsecrap. It is NOT the last year of the Mustang. If it was, a credible source would have made it public by now, and it wouldn't just be a rumour. Of course, I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

everyone has their eye at looking at things, which is why everything is different. I am sticking to the 17's because i love sidewall, but this is me.
