I think I saw 402 "miles to empty" once on mine. I drove about 360 miles then the "low fuel" warning came on so that would be about right. It was pretty flat highway going about 65.

I had to use the trip timer , in my IUP, last night to time my wife contractions!!!! She's over due,,but since my 5 year old left for camp with her grandparents,,,the misses and i figured we'd sneek in a romantic dinner for 2. 3/4 of the way through dinner,,,she started contracting . Since we're having a home birth,,,we jumped into the Mustang and zoomed home :drive: . No baby last night though....still waiting

Will the guage turn red, even if you aren't running headlights? The manual says that white illumination is used during the day, so I was curious if you would even notice the gas gauge turning red during the day.
If I remember correctly when I was checking all the features, the gadge was white when the car's lights were off. If you had just the running lights on, or head lights, the gadge turned red. I had a line at the gas station so I had plenty of time to check this all out.

I ran mine under 0 miles to empty the other day, but then again, I knew it hadn't consumed all the fuel in the tank, so I had no fear of running out.
