Factory alarm add on's

I have the factory alarm and was wondering does anyone know if you can add on modules/sensors. From what I understand the upgraded dealer installed Ford alarm has a shock sensor. Can a shock sensor be added to the factory alarm or does the whole unit have to be replaced and if so can I just buy the upgraded alarm and plug and play or would I have to rewire the whole think. If I have to redo the whole thing I midas-well go aftermarket. Also, does anyone know where the factory unit is mounted.

The factory unit has 2 motion sensors in the cabin and an incline sensor, what else do you need? If you find something better....please post it

It also has a remote horn mounted in the trunk, in case the crook manages to get the main horn disabled, and disables the ignition so it can't be "hotwired"

Would it be possible to install proper SIREN with the alarm? Does anyone know if alarm sound is routed DIRECTLY into thre horns or is it routed VIA horn activation and single wired? Just a thought...

Something better? How about A shock sensor for starters. Someone could beat the crap out of the car with a sledge hammer and the alarm will not go off!
