I would stay with the stock system. I saw that video with the camera right by the exhaust tip. And it sounded amazing. I thought Ford did a very good job on the stock system. But what you guys think?

Ditto. Staying with stock.

I'm not much of a car modder anyway.

If they are easy to change...

1 stock, 2 aftermarket...and change when I feel like it

Aftermarket. While stock is nice, aftermarket will be nicer. I don't want loud, just authoritive.

From what I've heard there's no need to change it.

It was gonna be the first modification that I made to the car, but if it sounds like the video I think I'll opt. for the Intake & Chip first

I'll definitely have an aftermarket set waiting for me when the car comes home.

If they are easy to change as mentioned, maybe one set for cruising, one for racing.

Stock. If I ever go aftermarket, it will only be if I can get a tangible performance improvement. Improving the sound alone isn't enough to get me to spend the $_$.

Heh. It's just a holdover from my old online gaming days. I've kept using it just in case I run into somebody I "know" from another board.

Everyone saying they'll stay stock, I'm sure you'll change your mind after a lil while...at least that's what I did. Aftermarket exhaust and Stang pretty much go hand and hand I think, regardless of what the stock system sounds like.

If at all possible, and not to much $$$$$, I would like to see some side exhaust. Does anyone think that would be achievable???? And if so, then I would be going with the aftermarket of course

I'll stick with stock for now...

When I can afford it, I'll lower the piping a bit so it doesn't hug the driveshaft. Also I want to make it a big larger so it wuld increase air flow. Maybe a nice Flowmaster system...

I won't touch it. It sounds like a Mustang should sound.

I agree with you, Grantsdale... not only does it sound GOOD, but it sounds like a MUSTANG... why would anyone wanna go make it sound louder, or deeper... will end up sounding pretty good too, I'm sure. But, won't sound like a Mustang. I'm putting my money into a new hood with a scoop, and cold air induction. Only mod I'm putting on it.
