I have a question for you guys. I'm considering the shaker 1000, but how does the 500 sound and are there no speakers in the back? And with the 1000, do the delete the subs in the door? Thanks D.J.

The shaker 500 sounds great, you could feel the subs in the front when it is turned up. (you have to ask Dan for his impression in the back)

As for the 1000, the subs are no longer in the doors, you get speakers in there then.

For me personally, the 500 is more than I will need, the 1000 is a $1900CDN option, a little too pricey for me.

Second: you mentioned the color palette for 06 was not yet set; any hints on Dark Highland Green?

Third: did the word "ducktail" get mentioned anytime during conversation?

Ducktail wasn't mentioned, but I believe at one point someone on Team Mustang was asked by another forum member, and it is not in the works.

If I knew about DHG being offered as a color, it would probably be enough to make me wait for the '06 model.

1 question to you both. Does the new car drop revs quicker with the clutch engaged than the previous years? My '97 was horrible with s l o w l y spinning down when I got on the clutch.

Comments about the vid...

Dan is driving, Mr. Jansen from Ford is shotgun, and I am in the back filming on my digital camera.

The only rough patch of sound was we were on the highway with the windows up.

The exhaust is great, not as loud as on the vid, but has the same quality.
