Also what i noticed is that it is pretty easy to get the tires spinning if you mash the gas in reverse, but you should always look backwards before you do so.

Some people on StangNet say drop the clutch @ 4k in second gear..... I have always done my burnouts in my M3 in 1st gear..... never had the guts to try the 2nd gear thing. anybody?

Maybe, at 4000 RPM it has enough oomph to get moving in second gear.

last time i tried that in my 5.0 i bought a new tranny the next day... dont mess around with reverse burn outs, not good for the tranny
