Took my car to work yesterday for the first time and everone loved it. The first thing they say is "lets see you spin the tires"! This morning the construction crew showed up to do work at my house and they were all waiting for me to leave 8 guys lined up by the side of the road. I lit em up then cherped 2nd and 3rd

You just can't help it, this car is so much fun to drive! :drive:

At the cost of replacing my tires I can't afford to give everyone a show. Every second I just start counting.. 20 dollars, 40 dollar, 60 dollars. I might have to start collecting the rubber I leave behind and try glueing it back on. I had a few kids say "Do a huge burnout" to which I replied "Not including the tickets I would get a burnout will cost me about $1200.00 down the road. I know, I hate to let them down but there is always a right time and right place.

I love the wheels. What are they and what size tires are those?

Speaking of tires...my dealership did something I've never heard of before.....Tires for life.

Every 25000 miles they will put new rubber on my car for as long as I own it. The down side is that I have to stay with the stock tire size so no 18s or 19s. Personally I like the stock wheels just wish they were 18s. But still thats a huge savings over the life of the car.

Of course I'd be lying if I said that this first set is going to last 25000 miles

1) start car

2) hold clutch

3) put in first gear

4) rev to 4000 RPM

5) release clutch and don't take your foot off the gas

6) hold on tight!

When you get real good at it you keep shifting gears while the tires are spinning.

yes it's called power braking

Hold down the brake with the car in 1st gear as hard as you can. Push the gas till the point where it feels like the car is going to break free and release the brake. Should work on the GT, I dunno about the v6, probably not enough torque.

Oh yeah the TCS needs to be off, manual or standard

My Honda accord v6 in automatic can barely do it. It's got around 205 HP, similar to the Stang v6

The smell of burning rubber gets a lot of attention too. Just in case the noice and cloud of smoke don't.
