I was hoping with the slew of V6 orders from the first week of March getting pulled I'd be in the group. Alas, ERL greeted me by saying "as of 3/24 your order show's C/U." Hoperfully in the next two weeks or so.

 

yea shes back and she gave me an easter basket!! (build week of april 11)

Sure thing, Greg! No one is more surprised than me. Maybe they are scheduling cars that will be painted with colors that aren't available next year. In that case, I'm really happy I chose LL!

Although I'm relieved to make progress, it bothers me that some of you folks have been waiting so much longer. Sorry, guys. Maybe the fact that Ford is increasing production and adding personnel will expedite your orders as well.

BTW outdoorstom, you're new avatar is really cool...

Getting this news today put me in a perfect frame of mind for work... even for a Monday!

 

With ford starting to put the growing pains behind them for the 05 and also calling to ramp up production I'm sure the boys will soon get there build dates soon .As long as no one has to wait 4 months or longer for there stang it's a good thing

 

I orders 6 days after you Rags. Hopefully I get pulled this week.

 

Thanks for the encouragement guys....much appreciated! I'm really doing my best to keep a good attitude. I keep telling myself things like "at least I'm saving more money to put down", and "well, the car will be in the garage when there is snow on the ground anyway, so it doesn't matter". I have a feeling it'll happen this Thursday!

Stadifer, welcome to the club. I'm also still C/U for the 3rd week. The only part that really bothers me is trying to get the ERL to understand what I'm saying. This week, my wife had to do it for me. She's got the clearer enunciation in the familiy.

Most of the time when I say V, the ERL says D, Z, or T...

I am indeed a member of the 4 month club, BUT on a brighter note, my car was shipped a week ago, and I should be getting it any day now. Ironically, I ordered Nov. 22nd, and the car was produced on March 22nd.......exactly 4 months a part. It's cracks me up when I read somewhere that someone who ordered 3 weeks ago, is complaining about not getting a build date. :scratch:

 

Julie sorry to hear that your one of the 4 month club ,but on a good note it takes about 10 days from shipping for your stang to arrive .Check thursday or friday this week at the dealer it could be there.

Tom ..thats one busy avatar LOL .At least the good thing is like you said it gives you more time to save money ,I know for myself I did the same thing and even had extra left for some pony options from the accessories booklet ...now if those would only get here
