Picked these up today at Auto Zone. Chrome bolt head covers. I put them on every 7/16" bolt head: fenders, hood hinge etc.

I agree that they stick up too high. Looks like sockets to me.

Which ones in that picture of the package fit the 7/16"? the six middle ones or the four corner ones?

7/16 fit all the bolts pictured.

I like your strut towers. I may get a brace though.

How about painting the bolts gloss black instead of chrome jackets?

I did something similar and covered the strut tower bolts and a few of the more obvious bolt heads - but left the fender bolts alone as they are body color and (IMO) blend better w/o the chrome. They do sell shorter nut covers that will not stick up so high and I even drilled the covers for the strut tower bolts so the ends go through the middle and the cover fits down to the lower edge of the nuts.

more billet pieces and the Blow-By Racing 2-piece Radiator cover and fuse box cover not shown in this picture.

more pictures will be posted hopefully monday once the motor is reassembled. >hehe<
