Just like the title says, I'm sure they won't wait until August 8th to start producing the fanblade rims, so where the heck are they, who's making them, and when will they be available?

To each his own but I personally can't see what the big deal is with the fanblades. I'll take the Bullitts anytime and they are standard equipment on the premium GT. JMO~

To a certain extent I agree, but the current bullit's are so narrow. Did anyone think of engineering a lip into that wheel? It just doesn't do it for me. Granted, I'm in the minority, but in my world, I am all knowing and the rest of you are stupid!

Brad and I spoke with several people from Ford, and the reasoning we got was that although they displayed items (i.e 18" fanblades and engine shroud) , and they were not available now, that does not mean they would not be available in the future. Quite the opposite. they have every intention of offering these, but they want to keep some of these items for later model years simply so that new items can be added each model year, but not wait too long, because "if we don't do it, someone else will".

Sorry for not mentioning that earlier. Sitting in traffic for 7 hours must have killed some brain cells.

I was wondering that same thing. Any ideas on what that option will cost? The bright aluminum 17" are a good deal at $195, but I prefer the 18" fanblades on the show car. Is it custom for Ford to wait for an official model year change, or could they be an ongoing change?

Just for anyone else posting.....please no comments about not liking the fanblades..... This topic is for those interested in buying the fanblade rims. I see no reason for any further comments expressing personal opinions against them.

Thank you.

Well, Mr Know it all, you don't seem to understand the difference between wheel width and wheel offset.

Being a fellow redfire owner, I bet part of the appeal is how great that redfire show car looked with them. I know that's part of the reason I like them so much. I'm definately willing to wait. Plus, I have a set of Pirelli's to use up anyway
