engine compartment, what do you think?

At first I thought there might be too much blue tubing, but after everything else went on I think it came together nicely. The stainless steel res. cover goes on with velcro stickies and I'll only use it when I want to show off cause the hood pushes it down and it scratches the rad cover. I'm thinkin I'd like to change it for one of those aluminum resevours eventually. Got the convaluted tubing, blue anodized cap covers, fuse box cover/sticker on ebay. The res. cover is from afterthoughtsauto, and of course the strut covers and rad cover extensions from midwest. No rubbing issues thankfully.
I participated in little car show they had at work the other day and got a lot of great responce on my car which was great. The judges unfornately were pretty biased toward the older cars though, so no ribbon for me. LOL. Lot of fun though. The CAI will be the next addition, and I can't wait to get tuned up! Her she is:

I like it, and the MAG headlamps pieces are nice as well.

I think that the blue tubing takes away from everything else under the hood. It's too bright IMO.

I like the blue tuning...the only thing I'm not in love with is the huge chrome thing.....maybe the fuse box cover too.

+1. Unless you're going to go through and rearrange the wiring so that it's nice & straight, etc. the blue just highlights the fact that it isn't. That's my opinion though, for whatever it's worth.

Thanks for the comments guys. I guess my first gut reaction on the tubing was right. Although I'll tell you that in person it doesn't look bad. The wiring is exactly like the factory did it, I just replaced the black tubing. I'll call it a "work in progress" and make changes as I go to try to keep it tasteful. keep the ideas coming.

It give's your Mustang wings.

I like the tubing idea, but it would be better in black. Those tubes kind of remind me of a bunch of blue snakes.

When I pour a Whoop @ss energy drink in the crank case its good for .001hp more.

Really it's just a container for an extra overflow line off the Canton Raditador tank.

Hey dly you're gonna need that Whoop @ss energy if you think your soon-to-be Saleen charged GT/CS is gonna keep up with my Vortech....

Just kidding man, I've seen your engine bay in person and it looks very unique, in a good way.

very nice except gotta agree with the blue tubing the more I look, if you like it, that's all that matters...although a custom plenum cover would reduce the visual weight of the blue tubing...the tubing just keeps drawing the eyes back to it...
