I dont know, I dont think I could justify using anything but all season tires up here. If Im just cruisin and a light snow starts to fall, I dont want to be caught in summer tires. **** 285/40.

I'm driving around in KDW2's right now and I've gotten stuck in the smallest amount of snow. Switching back to my Pirelli's today...

dang man yeah - I would switch back asap to be safe

'The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 (KDW for Key feature: Dry and Wet traction, the “2†is our addition and identifies that this is the second generation g-Force T/A KDW) is the Ultra High Performance Summer tire that was developed to provide a blend of a dramatic-looking, ultra high performance tread design with superior dry and wet road performance. The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 is available in sizes for drivers of the world's hottest sports cars, coupes, sedans and light trucks. Like all summer tires, g-Force T/A KDW-2 tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.'

Yep, not driving again until they're switched. They needed to be re-balanced so I wanted them to stay on the car until I did that first. Got that done last night, cleaned the car and it's locked in the garage until the 17" bullitts go back on.

In my personal experience with Goodyear F1's,

They don't call them fun rubber without a reason, they let you have fun, but disappear rather quickley.

I assume your talking about the Supercars.

There are a few Goodyear tires under the F1 nameplate.
F1 GS D3
F1 SuperCar
F1 GS
F1 GS 2
F1 All season

I've been running Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires on my 2001 for a while and love them (strictly a summer tire... nothing that you'll want on the car if it snows... like any max performance summer tire). I have to agree with a lot of the posts that mention the new F1 A/S ... I'm replacing the BFG's on my '07 with a set of these before I put the 18's back on in the spring. If you looks at the comparisons at the Tire Rack web site, they compare very well with the competition and are available in a 255/45-18
