Why is all of that necessary? I know that there are some of us Neon (yes I admit that my SRT-4 is a neon) owners out there that are idiots, but there is in every group. If you don't like the Neon that is fine, honestly I never did till I drove an SRT-4, and for the price (I bought mine used) I couldn't pass it up. Even though I own a Neon, I can appreciate the Mustang. Heck, I use to have a 2002 GT and a 1999 Cobra. .

The 2005 Mustang GT is awesome. I test drove on and couldn't believe how much the ride and handling have improved.

Anyway, all I am saying is take it easy. . . as Rodney King said "can't we all just get a long?"

You missunderstood me. I made no crass remarks about the Great Dodge Neon.
I was merely remarking on how nice the Neon forums were.

All is good. . . I know someday I will have Mustang again. . . but until then I do enjoy my SRT-4.

Anyway, I am a Mustang fan and I have a Neon. . . I guess stranger things have happened.

 

Back on topic... I've gotten plenty of "special" treatment from cops since I got the new stang. I'm not surprised at all he let you go.

Dudette- Get those tags now! I attempted the same thing as you are trying to do. I ended up in the slammer for about 9 hours! :bang: Not speeding or anything, middle of the day, in my late model Dodge 1500 pickup, around lunchtime. He nailed me for the tags, said I was operating a motor vehicle illegally, cuffed me, flat bed my truck and off I went. Lesson learned! Jerk cop, but there are plenty of them.

 

I'm going nuts...cant call the dealer from the house as I cant let the Mrs overhear.
He was supposed to call me back but didnt. No one Ive asked on this site has answered me back who has the capacity to check Fords computer.....

Oh Bob, poor, poor Bob Are you sure that .gov address of yours isn't the city looney bin or something??????? If it weren't for that silly DEA ban on Cdn prescription meds going over to the U.S., I'd send something that would help. I find it disconcerting that so many officers are rubber necking my new stang and I havent passed an officer yet who hasnt !

As for the Neon - so thats what that is on the trunk - a bench

 

I guess its a good thing that there are so many stangs in my area now... I dont get a second look from the local PD. Plus, being black, I slide by totally unnoticed... That is unless they come up behind me when I am on the freeway!
