My wife will be sooooo happy when the car arrives. She is tired of my complaining about the lack of info from the dealer. If I've said it once I've said it a million times "I ordered on May 26th and I still don't have a VIN"

My Children and my husband are rendered insane by it.

Everytime I open my mouth he says: "IS this about that *%&$&$ Mustang again?"

You could get into guiness for holding the longest running conversation EVER...

SOMEDAY it will be here and we can look back fondly.

I was "semi" normal about it, until I sat in one last night - then I called my dealer first thing this morning - just a vin # and "submitted to plant" status - ARGGGGG! You guys are my only link to sanity right now!!!!

Well, everyone in my life by now knwos about my Mustang coming.

At school, every other person in the hallway:

"Hey Dan, did you get your Mustang"

That puts me in the postion to talk about it, over and over, and over. Same story, everytime, at least 15 times a day.

At home:

I'll get home:

Me: "Hey Ma! Its a nice day to pick up a Mustang ...."
My Mom: "Dan, no one called."

Its all I talk about. Even though I verge from the topic for afew minutes, I'll end up on it again. Its gettign ridiculous to the point that I know I'm insane.

My family is cool with my obsession...I'm slowly winning them over to it!!! I'm checking the site morning, noon and night and they know when I disappear into my office I'm either scoping Stangs or working to save for one!!!

They've enjoyed my Jeep obsession over the years and we've all done some Jeep events like Camp Jeep...next on the agenda will be Mustangs, Pony Rides, and car shows.

The wife even says she thinks I should wait and get a vert but I like the coupe's lines so not sure I'll take her up on that advice.

I've completely corrupted my son...his last Cub Scout Pinewood Derby car was an "Eleanor" that we shaped like the 05 as much as we could and painted like the movie car. He won and went to the District race with it!!! Too cool!!

I'm driving my friends insane with it, and I'm not even close to getting one!

Does that make me a wannabe fanboy or what?
Youre not alone!!
