OMG i'm like 30 mins from don, things are pretty bad out here right now... That's so unfortunate for him, there are fires everywhere San Diego had to evacuate nearly 125,000 people

Thoughts and prayers are with you Don.... thank God you and Donna are Alright. Stay safe and our prayers are with you. I will donate when I can. I erge any and all to donate that can. DonW has helped each and everyone of us out at one point or another. This is a way to pay him back, He just has the clothes on his back, a few photo albums, and the 2 cars, the rest had to be left. Any money donated will help him get started or at least help with immediate needs

thanks helped my friends out and am back at home now, looks like Im in the clear....Im updating here in a thread I started:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=72605
but I towed my 98 to my friends place just in case, so I dont have to worry about anything in the middle of the night. The 05 is safe being worked on at SW Customs, so I am good to go. If things change third car is loaded up in the garage and Im out the door.

This is terrible, thankfully all of the forum members are safe and unharmed.
I'm paypaling a donation tonight when I get home.
Until this summer, I never contributed to things like this - until tragedy found my family a few months ago. Since then, I've donated hundreds of dollars to various coworkers, friends, and even strangers to help when these things happen. As we found out, $20 here, $10 there - that goes a long, long way. Even if you've never donated to something like this before, now is a good time to get started. You won't regret it!

Thank you so much to all those who donated. Don and Donna are dear friends of mine and I can't even imagine what they are going through right now. They were woken up at 5:00 am and had just minutes to get out of the house before it was gone.
Anyone who has ever dealt with an insurance company knows this is not a matter of just handing out a check. It will take time and with over 1500 total losses already, you can bet your butt that there will be BS invloved as well as the insurance companies scramble to make sense of this mountain of claims.
In the meantime, basic food, clothing, and neccesseties are the chief concern here so ANY amount is greatly appreciated. Regardless of your financial situation, even $1.00 adds up and helps.
I am in awe of the mustang community as a whole stepping up and helping a community friend in this time of need. You guys are the example of some serious character and I'm proud to call many of you my friends.
Don is not a 'special' member of our community, he is just a 'member' and the examples of us helping out a fellow member are truly inspiring and a sincere thank you to all who have helped out.
If every member of the main forums sent $2.00, Don and his family will have food and shelter during this tough time... think about it.
