Thumbs up

Ok My car was ordered 9/22 & was built the week of 1/3. My dealer says the MSRP is 22,830. I think it should be 22,430. His price is for after the price increase. And he says that is the price he has recieved on the invoice. So my question is: Which price is right?

It's a was ordered at a
V6 Premium at 19370 His price puts it at 19770
D&D 665
w/ Auto 995
Leather 695
IUP 450
ESP 295

Now he did say that we could go ahead & pay the extra 400 & he could submit a form to Ford to get the difference back. So what do you guys think? What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Check the invoice provided on the site. We won't do the math for you.

I did do the math. What I am asking is wich should be the correct price. My car was ordered on 9/22 at the 22430 & now it will be here next week & he is giving me the updated price. Since it was ordered before the price increase, should it not be the price it was when I ordered it?

It's not a math problem. I know the math. I can quote the math from memory. It's just a question of which price it should be.

You should be paying the price that was in effect at the time of ordering.

Ok, let me make this simple then. Is it in writing? If not he can do as he pleases, as you have no agreement on the price.

When the car was ordered, it was ordered with a price level, like 520 or 540. Check that.

The dealer is price protected on you order. The question is what is your agreement with the dealer. When you ordered the vehicle, you should have agreed on the numbers at that point.

If I remember correctly, you're being bought out of your vehicle by Ford. If that is the case, they probably want to do an MSRP to MSRP trade. If that is the case, you should talk to the person you dealt with at Ford and get this resolved. Your dealer won't have any say in the numbers. If this is not the case, disregard this statement.
